Russian paper rubles

Rubles and kopeks were always and would be the Russian official currency. For the first time a ruble was mentioned at the end of XIII century. Of course, now a ruble has another value than it had at that time. Anyway, rubles and kopeks are the only and main currency of Russia.

According to the last course of the currency market a Russian ruble is equal to 3, 5 American cents, 2 British cents and 2 euro cents (data on November 24, 2009).
